Overview
- Anthony has spent the past year after graduation and has been working in the Mechanical field. He has since moved into a role in Estimating with AGAE & has grown by leaps and bounds. Anthony will become a very well rounded man and his career will be everything he wants it to become. He is hard working, dedicated, highly intelligent, quick to learn and much much more.
Responsibilities
•The estimator works directly with the Lead Estimator in efforts to prepare bid packages & provides support & an in-depth knowledge of Construction, & the bidding process.
-Work directly with the lead estimator and vice president at AGAE
-Pull Bid Document Documents
-Distribute those Bid Documents to Subcontractors
-Dissect and understand Bid Contract Documents in a timely manner
-Relay trade specific information to the subcontractors when questions arise.
-Form relationships.
-Contact Subcontractors in a timely manner and make sure they understand scope
-Collect subcontractor’s proposals within time parameters set by the bid due date
-Must be able to fill out and understand bid documents, pulled from job specific specifications
-Must be able to plug the subcontractor cost into software to generate a proposal
-Assist in post bid review meetings
-Acknowledge subcontractors in a timely manner
